Here’s what that means for you:

When you call and ask for “yuca para freír,” Eddie (our co-founder) or Stella will ask follow-up questions because she actually knows the difference. When a product isn’t available, we call you before you call us — not after your weekend is ruined.

We’re the Londoño family. Three decades, three generations, and we’re still here because when your bandeja paisa tastes right, your customers come back.

Question 2

What's your minimum order requirement?

Accepted Answer

We don’t have a one-size-fits-all minimum because your restaurant isn’t one-size-fits-all.

Here’s how it works:

First order: We typically ask for a reasonable first order so we both know this is a good fit (usually $300-500 range, but we’re flexible)
After that: It depends on your location, frequency, and what you’re ordering

Why we do it this way:

We’ve been in business 30 years. We know that some restaurants order $10K/month and others order $1K/month. Both are valuable relationships to us.
What we care about: Consistency and communication. If you’re a reliable partner, we’re a reliable partner.

Question 3

What if a product arrives damaged or isn't what I ordered?

Accepted Answer

Short answer:
We fix it. Immediately. No runaround.

Long answer:
Look, problems happen. Trucks break down. Products occasionally get damaged in transit. The difference between us and the “big guys” is what happens next.
Our process:

You call us (or we call you if we know there’s an issue)
We listen — no “file a claim online” nonsense
We fix it — either we credit your account, rush a replacement, or work out whatever solution makes sense
It’s handled — usually within 24 hours, often same-day

Why this matters:
We’ve been doing this for 30 years in the same community. Our reputation is our business. If we screw up your Friday delivery and you can’t serve your weekend customers, that’s on us — and we take that seriously.

Last year, one of our trucks had mechanical issues an hour before a big delivery. Ediberto (our founder) personally drove a rental van with the order. Why? Because “our truck broke down” doesn’t pay your rent.

Do you deliver to my area?

We primarily serve the Midwest: Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, and parts of Iowa and Missouri.
Specific areas we deliver to regularly:

Greater Chicago area
Indianapolis metro
Milwaukee
Detroit
Columbus
And surrounding suburbs/cities

Just ask. We’ve made exceptions for great restaurant partners, and if we can’t deliver directly, we’ll tell you honestly (and potentially suggest alternatives).
Delivery frequency: Typically 1-2x per week depending on your location and order volume.

Can I get samples before placing a large order?

Accepted Answer

Yes — with one condition: you’re serious.
Here’s how it works:
For new wholesale customers:
We’re happy to include a few sample items with your first order so you can taste the quality before committing to larger quantities. Just mention what you want to try in your application notes.
Why we do it this way:
We’re a family business, not Amazon. Sending out random free samples to everyone who’s “just curious” would put us out of business. But for restaurant owners who are genuinely evaluating suppliers? Absolutely.
What we need from you:

Completed wholesale application (so we know you’re a real business)
Clear idea of what products you want to sample
Understanding that samples come with your first paid order (not as a standalone shipment)

If you’re comparison shopping between us and 5 other distributors, we get it. But after 30 years, we’ve learned that restaurants who taste the difference between our products and generic “Latin food” don’t go back to the generic stuff.
The quality speaks for itself. We just need you to try it.
